HI guys! My name is Amanda Miller, and I am the creator of The Miller Affect. I am so excited to be guest blogging today. I have always adored The Double Take girls and am so excited that I finally got to meet them in New York for Fashion Week. (And yes, they are as sweet and genuine in person as they appear to be on here)! I know Lindsay and Whitney cover fashion and sales like no one’s business, so I won’t even try to do that on here. I wanted to talk today about all the tips I give on my blog!

I recently got to go to New York for New York Fashion Week. I haven’t even been blogging for a year so it was so amazing that I got to attend. The truth is, anyone can go! I cover all the tips you need to know to get there on my New York Fashion Week Tips post. I am sure the Girls have been keeping you up to date with their Like to Know It posts, but I have found that even my closest friends are still confused about it. How does it really work, is it worth the time to sign up, and what if you don’t want to get overrun by emails? These are all questions I have been asked NUMEROUS times! I have tons of new bloggers visit my site every day because I like to share useful tips they can use for their blog. I was new once, heck I still kind of am, and I depended on these tips to get me where I am today. You will find by reading my blog that I believe in community. If we try to compete, we really won’t get anywhere! Some of the tutorials I have posted so far include ‘How to Make a Collage on Canva‘ and ‘How to Make an Overlay on PicMonkey‘. Both are super important when it comes to collages and having pin-able images on your site! I walk you through how to do each of these step by step and they only take about 10 minutes each! I have many more tutorials lined up, so stay tuned!

Do you need travel tips? I cover those as well. I just started, so I only have a few places covered. But, you can find all you need to know about each destination! My favorite so far has been Big Sky Montana! I will have New Orleans up next month and you won’t want to miss that one! Not only will I be covering the city, but I will be teaching you how to plan a destination wedding, yay! (No, sadly it wasn’t my wedding I am planning)… but soon enough! 😉
