5 Home Decor Trends For Spring | + Design Blogs We Love To Follow

decor-ideas-spring-english-country-neutrals-the-double-take-girls-style-blogGood morning!

We hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Lindsay and I thought it would be so fun to kick off this new week with the first home post that we’ve done in years! As you all know, we normally focus on affordable clothing and style deals. But for 2018 we are excited to add in some home posts! We are going to share 5 decor trends for spring to give your space a refresh for the new year! If you have some ideas for additional things you’d like to see us feature definitely leave a comment below!

We both love all things girly and chic, so when Lindsay redecorated her house last year {with the help of Linsey of Quintessential Interiors} she wanted to make sure it all had a cozy feel but very casual glam. I love how everything turned out and it is so beautiful in person!! She spent some time finding almost identical items for everything shown above so y’all can easily shop this look. Just click the images in the widget below to go straight to the items. The room paint is Sherwin Williams “Sea Salt”. This under $30 gold tray is one of our favorite recent purchases! The fabric of the curtains is this linen french toile “bosporus” print.

Here’s some design trends we are loving that Linds worked into her space:

1. Fuzzy pillows
2. Mirrored furniture
3. Glam light fixtures
4. Toile fabric
5. Gold Trays and Accessories

All of these design elements can easily be added to your current designs which we love. No overhaul needed! I have also rounded up some additional home items that are on trend yet affordable. Many of them ship for free too!

Now for some home decor bloggers we LOVE to follow! They all are so sweet and we love reading their blogs and watching their Instagram stories. We know you all will love them too if you don’t already follow them!

1. Cotton Stem – Erin is such a design genius and we love her simply chic designs. She is SO creative and we love seeing the combinations that she puts together. Actually, we went to school with Erin while in college! She is so sweet and even more gorgeous in person {if that’s possible}. Who would have thought years later we’d all be girl mamas and have blogs! Definitely follow her here if y’all haven’t already.

2. The Spoiled Home – Sandi and Shalia are also from Oklahoma! We found their account last year and can’t believe it took us that long to find this talented decor duo! We love their style and and their Instagram stories are the best. Make sure to check them out here!

3. My Texas House – We recently found this account thanks to LikeToKnow.ItHome. We love the simplicity of Erin’s designs and how everything flows together so well throughout her home. She definitely gives us room envy! You can follow her on Instagram here.

Thank you all so much for stopping by our blog today. If you would love to see more home posts definitely leave us a comment below! We’d also love to hear about the design blogs you all enjoy following. Lindsay and I are always on the lookout for inspiration.

Loving your decor picks! I’ve been re-doing my living room and many of the decor/furniture pieces are marble/gold– I love it!
