We can’t believe it’s now May which means Mother’s Day is just a week away! Lindsay and I thought it would be the perfect time to share some amazing shopping and eating spots for all of our local followers in OKC and surrounding areas. If you have never been to the Classen Curve area {which consists of shops at Classen Curve, Nichols Hill Plaza and the Triangle at Classen Curve} then you are in for a treat! We have been shopping and eating at Classen Curve stores and restaurants for years! It’s such a beautifully designed OKC hot spot that has an amazing variety of options when it comes to apparel for the whole family, jewelry, eyeware, furniture, home decor, fitness gyms and much more. Their bakery and restaurants are phenomenal as well!
This group of modern stores and eateries offers endless options for not only some amazing Mother’s Day gifts but a wonderful place to take your Mom, Grandma, Aunts etc. to for the best food and shopping around! Today’s post is going to give you all a tour around some of our favorite Classen Curve stores along with gift ideas for all the lovely ladies on your Mother’s Day shopping list. The first stop on our Mother’s Day shopping day is a store we have both shopped at for years! BC Clark Jewelers, formed in 1892, is not only Oklahoma’s oldest jewelry store but it is the oldest retail store in Oklahoma under the same name and ownership. Both of our wedding rings are from BC Clark and we can’t say enough amazing things about their impeccable store, incredible selection and amazing customer service. They are always so kind and helpful each time we come to shop.
Their 10,000+ square foot Classen Curve location features brands like David Yurman, Rolex, Roberto Coin, Henri Daussi, Omega, Ippolita and so many more. We are so excited to share that Johnny Was just opened a brand new store location in Classen Curve! This California-based brand embodies true bohemian style with timeless technique and modern artistry for the woman looking to showcase her personal style. Walking into the store makes you feel like you are entering vacation! The bold colors and vibrant prints are so beautiful! From tunics and tops to dresses and kimonos – Johnny Was is a perfect spot to find fabulous Mother’s Day gifts – and get something from yourself too! Next up on our Mother’s Day shopping roundup is Scout & Molly! The women’s clothing and accessory store is so bright and cheerful! We are the biggest Kendra Scott fans so having our own local store in OKC is definitely a dream! The story is beautifully designed and it easy to stay way longer than intended as each display is captivating. We love taking our Mom to shop at Kendra Scott so she can pick out some new pieces. It’s a shopping date we definitely always look forward to each year!

When it comes to treating yourself or your Mom, a blowout at Dry Bar is the perfect thing! We are so excited that OKC has its very own Dry Bar location! There are lots of beautiful options! A relaxing wash, dry and style awaits your in their bright and cheerful space! Another store we are so excited to see at Classen Curve is Lululemon! Founded by Chip Wilson in Vancouver, Canada in 1998, lululemon is a yoga-inspired, technical athletic apparel company for women and men. What started as a design studio by day and yoga studio by night soon became a standalone store in November of 2000. Fast forward to today and it’s easy to see why Lululemon is such a popular brand!
Their designs and quality are top notch for sure. We always look forward to seeing the new styles and color palettes debut with each new floor set. Pullovers, leggings, sweatshirts, belt bags, water bottles and more would all make excellent Mother’s Day gifts! Or if you aren’t sure what to pick out, purchasing a Lululemon gift card is a sure way to bring a smile to your gift recipient!

Now that we wrapped up our shopping fun, it is time to share about the delicious food options available at Classen Cute, The Triangle at Classen Curve and at Nichols Hills Plaza! From breakfast to dinner – Classen Curve has more than 15 eateries featuring a wide variety of food options. For today’s Mother’s Day outing we decided to eat at Flower Child! We have heard amazing things about Flower Child and have been wanting to eat there for months!
Flower Child is on a simple, soul-satisfying mission to spread positively delicious vibes and healthy food in Oklahoma City. Whether you’re craving a taste of our bowls, grains, greens and wraps or looking to refresh with our flavored lemonades and kombucha, we’re here to take you to a happy place. Flower Child makes every last bite on their menu from scratch while using farm-fresh ingredients from close to home. We love that they cater to those who are vegan, paleo, gluten-free but that everything is still SO delicious! We ordered the Turkey & Avocodo Cobb Salad, Hummus Plate and the Mother Earth Bowl. Not only was everything so fresh and healthy but it was SO tasty too! We can’t recommend Flower Child enough to you all. It’s a new top spot on our restaurant list for sure.
