We are back on the blog today with a brand new work wear sister style post. As you all may not know, Lindsay and I both worked in an office setting for more than a decade. Lindsay is a college professor and still needs casual work wear outfits so we put these outfits together with her {and all of you that work in a business casual setting} in mind! 🙂

1. Cropped Trench Coat

For today’s work wear looks we were excited to try out the cropped trench coat trend again like we wore with our floral + lattice print dresses a few weeks ago. The fabric is durable but lightweight and the lining makes this a perfect layering piece for spring temps {and fall weather too}. We just saw that it got marked down as well plus it’s an extra 40% off!

As far as sizing goes we suggest sizing down. If you have short arms then we highly recommend getting the petite for the best fit. Lindsay usually wears a 2 in jackets and has on the 0 petite and it’s perfect! I usually wear a 4 or 6 in jackets and I purchased the size 2 and it’s a great fit as well. Also, if you love pink then you have to check out the same jacket in this shade “deep carnation” here. The color is even prettier in person!

2. Slingback Heels

When it comes to heels, we love flattering yet comfy styles. This is why we are so glad the slingback style is back! We shared a few weeks ago about these comfortable heels that can be dressed up or down. Lindsay is wearing the Lanie Colorblock Leather Slingback Pumps in a white/black combo and I’m wearing the Kerry Suede Slingback Pumps in black suede.

As far as sizing goes, if you are between sizes we suggest going down in the Lanie style as it runs a tad wider. Here’s some additional colors and patterns to chose from too!

3. Pencil Pants

Pencil pants can do no wrong in our book! From casual to dressy, they can be worn so many different ways. These new gingham print pants come in several fit options and sizes 00-18. They are so comfy! They do stretch a bit so we suggest sizing down for the best fit.

Whether you like to wear flats, sandals, heels or wedges – these pants can do it all! For a causal look I would style them with a T-shirt, jean jacket and sandals. For a dressier option I would wear a black or white blazer. Here’s some additional pencil pants at Ann Taylor that you all should definitely check out! We also had to share that all suiting at Ann Taylor is currently 40% off until 5/8 as well!

Thank you so much for stopping by our new sister style post today! It was so much fun putting together these work where style looks for you all.
