We aren’t sure who officially started the Galentine’s Day trend but we love any reason we can get to celebrate all our best girl friends. Lindsay and I have partnered with Walmart today to share our very favorite beauty items + gift ideas that are perfect for your gal gang – and for you too!

Makeup

The first category on our Beauty Gift Guide is none other than our daily staple: makeup! Whether you are on the hunt for a great mascara, a new lip color or a brush set that can do it all, we’ve rounded up some of our top favorites for you all today.

While we switch up foundations every few weeks, we both agree that L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Foundation is awesome! It’s available in a large variety of shades and doesn’t oxidize during the day either. At under $15, we highly recommend it!

This new L’Oreal Lumi Glow Nude Highlighter Palette comes with four shades and is perfect for a range of skin tones. Lindsay applied the palette using the mid sized brush from the Real Techniques Rebel Edge Brush Trio.

Real Techniques always has the best brushes that are affordable. This set has rave reviews which is no surprise! I know that all our friends would love to receive either of these items.

Now for lashes! I’ve been using the L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara for the last few months and I really love it. The bottle lasts for a while and the formula doesn’t get clumpy either. The coordinating primer is really great too so definitely give that a try.

Last but not least, no Valentine’s makeup look is complete without some pink lip color! No matter you or your friend’s skin tone, bright pink will look great. We really like the new Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Lipcolor. Another great option is the Revlon Matte HD lipcolor in Spark.

Hair Care & Tools

Now for some hair items! Curling wands and hair products always makes great gifts! I gifted Lindsay this new Remington Pro Ceramic Curling Wand. It’s under $25 and has great reviews too! After curling our hair we gently brush the curls out with a Wet Brush. This pink one is our fave color and is under $10.

We are also loving this oh so cute pink hair dryer. It has great reviews and comes with a nozzle, diffuser and clips. Now on a hair care note, our local Walmart store just got in these adorable pink bottles of shampoo and conditioner from the Hask brand. They aren’t available online quite yet but the do have the same products featured in Hask pouches that are under $5. We can’t wait to try them out too!

Skin Care & Spa Items

One category that gets a lot of attention from us is definitely skincare! From masks and lotions to scrubs and body creme, we are all about keeping our skin moisturized and radiant.

We’ve rounded up some facial and body products in the shopping widget below that are affordable plus have excellent reviews. This OLAY pink mineral mask works really well and is under $10. We can’t wait to try these Bodycology Fizzy Bath Bombs with Vitamin E. They smell amazing!
