The Double Take Girls Top 20 Items of the 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
1. Cardigan // This circle hem cardigan from BP is a clear winner! The price is fabulous and we love all five color options as well! It does run true to size however if you are between sizes or you want a drapey fit in the front then we suggest sizing up. You can shop it in plus size here too.
2. Under $50 Knit Top // This top is actually a knit convertible cardigan and it’s a MUST! On the hanger it’s hard to see how cute it really is. It can be worn as a cardigan or a wrap top. It’s lightweight too so you don’t have to wait to wear it. It comes in petite, regular and plus sizes which we love. We bought it in gray, light pink, and bright blue. It’s an anniversary sale must have in our opinion.
3. Jeans // Ab jeans from Wit and Wisdom are hands down our most purchased jeans from the sale! They are slimming, comfy and under $50! They run true to size for us and are a great length as well. We know you will love them as much as we do! Shop all the options in petite, regular and plus sizes here.
4. Booties // This is one of the hardest categories to narrow down as there are literally 10+ booties that we are loving from the sale. However, our very favorite pair has to be these perforated tan suede booties from Steve Madden. They are so comfortable and run true to size. We can’t recommend them enough! The slightly pointed toe is very flattering as well. We hope your size is still in stock!
5. Boots // We tried on lots of boots during our shopping trip to Dallas. This over the knee pair from Tory Burch was a clear winner! They are so comfy which really surprised us. The combination of leather and suede is so eye catching too. If you are looking for a great pair of boots that will last you for years, then this is your pair!
6. Cami // We have yet to see anyone post about this lace trim cami but it is amazing! We ordered all three prints. It’s substantial fabric and the lace detailing is so pretty. The straps are adjustable too. You definitely can’t beat the sale price! It runs true to size. However if you are between sizes then we suggest going up.
7. Vest // Our first cashmere item ever purchased was a sleeveless vest from last year’s anniversary sale. We love it and wear them all the time. So as soon as we saw there was a similar vest in this year’s sale it was a no brainier to grab it! It comes in a one size fits all option and is currently available HERE in navy, gray and black. You will love it!
8. Scarf // This $12 leopard scarf is SO cute and looks much better in person. It will sell out in no time so definitely grab it while you can. It would make a great gift too!
9. Activewear top // This sleeveless t shirt from Adidas is one of our fave workout tops we’ve found in a long time. It is a longer length which is perfect for wearing with leggings. I normally wear an xs in tops but usually size up for workout tops. So a small in this top was perfect for me. It is so cute under a denim jacket or cozy cardigan too.
10. Active wear bottom // Zella has a huge following when it comes to their leggings and now we know why! These live in leggings are comfy and slimming plus you can’t be the price!
11. Jewelry // We are always so excited when Kendra Scott designs items exclusively for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. All of the items from this special collection are so pretty. But we have to say that the Kristen Drop earrings are our fave. They come in so many colors too! The iridescent shade is so stunning in person.
12. Watch // While our focus is normally clothing during the sale, we can’t forget to mention that there’s so many great watches up to 40% off. This watch from Tory Burch is definitely a fave as it has a combo of both silver and gold. It will definitely sell out in no time!
13. Sunglasses // The anniversary sale is the perfect time to find a pair of sunglasses for a great price {plus free shipping and returns}. We aren’t currently needing a new pair, but if we did this one would be it! We purchased a pair of Sonix glasses last year and loved them!
14. T shirt // BP always comes out with a new short sleeve tshirt for the anniversary sale. This year’s version get a thumbs up from us! Our only advice is to go up a size. It runs small and we always like to leave room for washing/shrinkage too. The stripe options is so cute as is the medium tan shade. We grabbed a couple to wear on their own or under cardigans.
15. Purse {affordable} // It was really hard to narrow this down, but we would say this grey Susan satchel from Sole Society is a clear winner when it comes to a purse under $75. It is a great size and looks much more expensive than it is. It’s so cute with flats, tennis shoes, boots and heels!
16. Purse {designer} // The Tory Burch Marsden pebbled leather tote caught our eyes as soon as we saw it at the pre shopping day last week. It’s stunning! The size is perfect and the gold hardware makes this bag so eye catching. It comes in three colors {the tan shade looks to have sold out last night but we hope it pops back up today}. At nearly $175 off, you won’t regret adding this purse to your collection. You can see all the Tory Burch bags in the sale HERE.
17. Sweater // This exposed seam sweater by Gibson is so soft and cozy! We love the tunic length too. It comes in lots of colors as well! If you want a more relaxed fit then we suggest sizing up. We ordered the pale pink and it’s so pretty!!
18. Outerwear // We didn’t try on many coats from the sale, but we did try on this vest from The North Face and it’s a must have winter staple. It does run a tad snug so we suggest sizing up. The North Face items always go so fast once the sale opens to early access. So if your size is left in stock then consider it a sign you need it LOL.
19. Leggings // Spanx makes the best leggings and these faux leather options from the sale always sell out SO fast. We sized up for a bit more breathing room. We love wearing our leggings with tunic sweaters, longer tshirts, cardigans etc. While we don’t consider them full on pants, they are more substanial than normal leggings. At nearly 40% off, you definitely want to grab these before the prices go up on August 6th.
20. Button Down Shirt // This plaid shirt from BP definitely caught us off guard. It looked a bit boring on the hanger but once you get it on, it’s so cute!! Plus the price is great and it comes in several color options. It runs true to size for us. The black and white plaid is our fave! We grabbed the red plain option too. You will definitely be glad you added this style to your cart.

Good morning ladies, so I bought the green sweater from the catalog with the ruffle turtle neck. The goal digger sweatshirt, the leopard scarf, another green sweater where the neck came up just a little, and the dark red twist tie front top. I really wanted the Stuart weitzman slouchy boots 👢 but I could bring myself to do it. $$$ have a great weekend! This Kendra Scott set is everything! Color is perfect!
