This is one of my favorite outfit combinations from earlier in the year that I’m definitely ready to re-wear. Yesterday’s post featured how I’m wearing my “neon” items now. Then I remembered that I have a fave lemon-lime cotton top that I’m ready to wear again now that the temps have dropped a bit. My little black dress (aka “LBD”) for this ensemble is a ponte shift dress from Gap. I’m so glad they have these available again this season (also in red!). You know W and I always preach about adding a pop of color to outfits, so it was a no-brainer to layer this dress with the bright lime top. I then added some detail with the jewel ribbon necklace and leopard print satchel.
So ladies, take out your LBDs and use a layering piece to add wear and versatility. Mission accomplished by pairing with a tee or blouse underneath, or with a printed cardigan over the dress. Don’t forget a statement necklace and a fun tote or satchel!
