Lindsay’s Dining Room Reveal Featuring Abbey Ratcliff Fine Art

Hello Friends!

I’m so excited to share my dining room reveal post with you all today! As you all may remember from my living room reveal with Micah & Co earlier in the month, my family has been renovating a 25 year old home for the last few years. The dining room was one of the final areas we decided to tackle. It’s a smaller space than my living room but one that’s used very frequently so extra thought went in to the layout of the space as well as in selecting the furniture pieces.

That being said, I’m so pleased with how the remodel turned out for this area! Micah from Micah & Co helped me find the perfect pieces to help my ideal aesthetic flow from our modern yet chic living room into the dining area. During the last step of the project, Micah and I discussed that the room needed a beautiful piece of art to finish off the space. We both agreed Abbey Ratcliff’s artwork would absolutely perfect for the space. I was so thrilled she was available to paint a custom piece for me based on the size I needed for the space. Isn’t it so stunning!?!

Artwork by Abbey Ratcliff

This gorgeous custom piece painted by local artist Abbey Ratcliff features acrylic, charcoal, fiber paste, linen, house paint, modeling paste, pastels, as well as graphite on canvas. This is a 48 x 60 piece that is framed in natural maple frame. My family couldn’t be happier that our dining room now has this beautiful piece of art as a focal point. The combination of materials and colors she used provides a unique blending of neutrals, texture and sereneness I wanted for the dining room. It’s definitely so perfect for the space!

Now to share some details about Abbey Ratcliff Fine Art + make sure to stay tuned to end of the post for some exciting news!

Working in acrylics and various textural elements, Abbey Ratcliff is an abstract expressionist artist grounded in tones and textures of the earth. Her compositions are often built with the element of the accident— trusting in the process of layer upon layer upon layer. Abbey desires for her paintings to evoke wonder & remind the onlooker to look closely at the beauty, both obvious and unexpected, that surrounds us every day. Abbey’s compositional style has been described as raw, harmonious, & organic
