Louis Vuitton Neverfull Review + Why We Love Designer Consignment

We are so excited to finally share a new Louis Vuitton bag review post with you all!! We get asked all the time about our Neverfull bags and so we thought it was time to share answers to all of your questions! Here is a look at some of what we will be chatting about in today’s post!

Before we get to ALL the Neverfull details we had to share with you why we buy our bags through luxury consignment instead of buying new! The MM and GM sizes are the most popular by far so we are going to focus on those two options today.

Neverfull MM Details

The MM’s dimensions are 12.6 x 11.4 x 6.7 inches

This bag size is so versatile and we love it! The Louis Vuitton MM is available in these different material options: Damier Ebene, Damier Azur Canvas, Monogram & Epi Leather. If you like mid sized bags then the MM is for you! We’ve each owned one of the MM bag style for years and it’s been the best purchase! You all will love it!

GM Neverfull Details

The GM is the largest bag of the Neverfull collection and is 15.35 x 12.60 x 7.9 inches.

As far as materials / print this large tote bag is available in Damier Ebene, Damier Azur Canvas and Monogram. This oversized tote bag has the same features as the MM size but is slightly larger.

So if you want a bag for travel or carry a laptop to work etc, then this bag is the size for you! We also love that this bag offers the drawstring options on each side {similar to the MM} so you can pull in the sides to make the bag a little smaller.

After owning the Neverfull MM style for several years now, it’s easy to see why it’s one of the most popular LV styles available! We decided that we wanted to try the GM size since we travel with lots of things even just from day to day errands and work. Here is a comparison of the sizes side by side!

LV Neverfull Bag Questions:

– Does the Damier Azur print get dirty?

We haven’t had any issues with this at all! Granted we are definitely more careful when using this print compared to the brown patterned options. As with any nice handbag we make sure there aren’t permanent markers or other leaky type items that could get near the bag {we both have young kids lol}. Also we’ve heard to be careful of super dark denim because it could transfer with lots of friction. But again we’ve never had this issue. The color is SO pretty and it’s such a lovely option for year round – but especially spring and summer.

– Which size should I buy?

This is a hard one! The MM is our first vote. But we both carry quite a lot and the GM is amazing for that! If you don’t like large totes though or you are petite definitely go with the MM. You will love it!

– How do you keep everything organized?

We both have purchased felt organizers from Amazon and they do a great job of keeping it all organized! It’s also super helpful when you want to trade our bags without having to spend time transferring things one by one. Also check the sizes on the felt organizers before checking out. For example, you can buy a standard or slim (narrow) size for the GM depending on how full you want your bag to look.

– Are the handles comfortable?

The handles are thin but definitely not uncomfortable at all. If you pack your bag too much then the straps will get more pressure. So we just make sure to not lug around super heavy things. But that being said we’ve put a laptop and planner {plus our other essentials} in both bags and it’s not an issue at all!

– Can I use this is a baby bag?

Definitely!! Lindsay actually purchased the GM size bag from Keeks to be used as her baby bag + personal bag so she doesn’t have to always have two bags.

– Does the MM fit a laptop?

Yes it does!

– Which size do you all use the most?

We use the MM the most for when going to events, date nights etc. For daily use though and for travel the GM is amazing!

– Does the canvas hold up well?

Definitely! I’ve had my first Monogram print MM for 7-8 years and it’s held up so well! I’ve been super impressed and highly recommend these bags to anyone.

Now for the most often asked question:

Should I buy a new LV bag or a used one instead?

It’s easy for us to share that buying a pre-loved LV bag is definitely the way to go!! This is how we’ve been able to save SO much money over the years. Also if you didn’t already know, the price of Neverfull bags had gone up significantly the last few years. So if you are working with a budget then we highly suggest checking out the authenticated pre-loved items from Keeks! You can save so much by still get an amazing bag at a great price. Both of the bags we purchased from Keeks this spring are in fabulous condition.
