Loving These (Just Purchased) Old Navy Items!

Hello Lovely Readers~

Today is a quick update about my recent June purchases from Old Navy. As I mentioned last week, they have been running a 20% off promotion this summer, as well as giving out super cash with purchases. So being the bargain shopper that I am, it was the perfect time to add these items to my summer wardrobe.

Reviews:

Tunic (maternity) – Comes in white/navy, orange/white and turquoise. I purchased both the orange one (online) and the navy one (luckily found it in store). They are a great length, and very easy to wear. Regarding sizing, I purchased my typical size XS and felt it was true to size.  This item has been popular with bloggers, and looks like they are selling out quickly online! For my non-maternity readers – they also come in regular sizes

Denim Vest (non-maternity) – Purchased online because almost all the sizes are out in our local stores. I love the idea of layering with this piece, and that it won’t add heat like a typical denim jacket. I was eyeing the Gap version, but didn’t want to pay $60 for it. So, this is a great deal for under $30. You definitely want to order your regular size (if between sizes, I’d suggest going down rather than up) or else you will get the boxy 90’s look.

Button-down shirt (non-maternity) – Purchased the blue and white stripe version in store. I love how lightweight the fabric is, and it comes in several classic prints and colors. I wanted to wear it now (21 weeks), so I went ahead and purchased a size larger than I’d normally buy. Once the baby is here, I’m sure it will fit a little more boyfriend style. I also see that they are on promo this week for $17.50!

Denim shorts (maternity) – Ok ladies, these are one of my favorite finds for beating the heat! As you readers know, I’m really not inclined to show too much leg – especially not while being pregnant. These mix the best of being able to wear denim shorts, but without the care of what you look like sitting down. They hit right above the knee. I noticed that the belly band of these ran small, as well as the leg opening (kinda weird, not sure what the designers were thinking!!) So, I purchased the size up, and found they fit much more comfy this way. There is a little extra room in the lower belly area, but wearing a tunic can fix that.

So, there you have it – my top 4 picks of the month! Let us know if you pick up any of these goodies! Find us on instagram and facebook; we would love to hear from you!
