Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. L and I had a great weekend celebrating a friend’s 30th birthday. It was so nice to get out of the house and enjoy time with friends. Plus, the weather has turned suddenly cooler (upper 80s rather than over 100 – hooray!). It was a nice treat to be outdoors without sweating in the first 60 seconds!
So for today’s look I decided to showcase some neon shorts I purchased at Gap’s Friends & Family sale last weekend. They are still online for full price, but were marked down at my local store. They cost me a mere $13! At first I almost put them back since they seemed a little bold. But once I got home, I was surprised to find several outfit combinations that subdued the neon shade while still providing some pizzazz.
DTG’s Tip of the Day: Wake up your conservative black and white pieces with a bright pop of color in either a pant, skirt, jacket or statement accessory. Vibrant shades are great for breathing new life into your otherwise safe outfit ensembles.
