I love texture and shine…so queue the metallic prints! This skirt caught my eye at The Limited since I collect pencil skirts, and it had a fun gold dot print. The best part – it was a huge shopping steal at only $8. Yes, you read that right! Gotta love the clearance rack…
To keep it more day-to-day feeling, I paired it with classic heels and a black top (also on clearance, $12 at Gap last month.) So, I was able to put this new ensemble together for $20, since I already had the supporting pieces in my closet.
L’s tip of the day: don’t be afraid to try a sale piece that seems more interesting than what you would normally grab. As long as the item is cohesive with a few pieces you already own, it will be an easy and budget friendly option to design away with for seasons to come!
