nyfw-tahari-asl-fall-2017-the-double-take-girls-dressesnyfw-tahari-asl-fall-2017-the-double-take-girls-dressesHappy Friday! We are back today with another fun recap of our sister adventures at New York Fashion Week from earlier this month. If you missed our 10 NYFW Tips post, make sure to check it out here.

So in the midst of showrooms meetings, presentations and parties we had the opportunity to take photos with one of our favorite Dallas photographers {Angie Garcia} of these adorable dresses from Tahari ASL! They were so perfect for Day 3 of our sister trip. If you aren’t familiar with this brand, we have to share a bit of background!

—Arthur S. Levine

Arthur S. Levine’s legacy on Seventh Avenue runs deep. For over 40 years, he’s been at the helm of several of America’s most important fashion lines. In 2001, he teamed his famed business acumen with elegant designs to create the now-celebrated label of Tahari Arthur S. Levine. Having started with timelessly classic suits and dresses, the collection has expanded to include suited separates, all designed with enduring, easy sophistication. What remains the same is the brand’s devoted commitment to quality, design and construction—the true hallmark of the Tahari Arthur S. Levine brand.

This successful brand is actually headquartered in the heart of New York City’s fashion district, While we didn’t get to stop by their office while we were in town we certainly hope to do so during our next visit. We’ve been huge Tahari ASL fans since we started purchasing the brand’s dresses at our local Dillard’s store several years ago.

From casual to dressy options, Tahari ASL has so many fabulous dresses, skirts, tops, pants and jackets.

nyfw-tahari-asl-fall-2017-the-double-take-girls-dressesLindsay and I enjoy coordinating our looks {sisters can’t clash in photos, right?} and love how this gorgeous embroidered dress paired perfectly with the more modern little black dress. It was a breezy that afternoon so we threw on some jackets over our shoulders. My dress is called the embroidered mesh fit and flare dress. It fits like a dream! It runs true to size and is actually very comfortable. I received no less than five compliments while wearing it. Plus the best part is it just got marked down to 50% off here. It comes in a stunning rose version as well.

nyfw-tahari-asl-fall-2017-the-double-take-girls-dressesLindsay’s fit and flare dress features an open weave detail on the neckline and hemline. It’s the perfect LBD but with an extra added touch. It runs true to size but if you are between sizes we suggest sizing up. The length is so flattering and love that the fabric doesn’t wrinkle. It will definitely be a great go to event dress for years to come. You can shop it along with her jacket and accessories in the widget below.
