Lindsay and I are so excited to share a brand new sister style post with you all! As you all know there’s just a few days left of Fashion Week in NYC! As we shared last week, this is the first time in three years that we are not going to the fall season of NYFW and we are definitely missing it. But that doesn’t mean we can’t show you all some dresses that we’d totally be wearing there!
So September in NYC is notoriously warm {although this week there has been super rainy!!!} so breezy fabrics and drapey silhouettes are always a good idea. Nothing is wrong about wearing faux leather, velvet and suede so you feel like “fall” when you are there – but whew it’s just too toasty in our experience to wear too much of those things and still be comfortable. You literally do SO much walking too so you don’t want to be sweaty on top of having tired feet LOL.
Lindsay’s Eliza J Look
For today’s post Lindsay is wearing this stunning floral flutter sleeve hi low dress. It runs true to size and is so comfy! I just love the floral pattern and the ruffle neckline. It’s such a statement maker. She complimented her look by adding simple black heels, gold jewelry from Moon and Lola and this Eartha bag from ZAC Zac Posen. Whitney’s Eliza J Look
Now for my outfit! As soon as I saw this polka dot maxi dress I knew it would be the perfect thing for my closet. It is so eye catching thanks to the silhouette as well as the two sizes of dots. It could go with so many bag and shoe combos too! I chose this new ZAC Zac Posen Eartha bag in bright pink for the perfect pop of color. I love that this bag can be worn so many ways thanks to the adjustable cross body strap and back pack straps that come with it. Such an ingenious idea! Plus it is currently on promo HERE!!

P.S. On a somber note, with today being 9/11 we had to share that we are praying for all those families affected by such a horrendous tragedy 17 years ago. For all those that served during the catastrophe, we salute your willingness to provide aid in such dire and dangerous times.
