The spring work suit and seafoam green…W’s Outfit of the Day

Since entering the corporate world several years ago, I’ve had an obsession with suits. Short or long sleeve, patterned or plain – I like them all!  One of my favorites is this light tan cross hatch jacket and cropped matching pants from last spring.  The suit jacket features timeless tailoring, while the coordinating pants provide a bit of modern flair with the ankle length, slim silhouette.  Now for my top: we’ve seen shades of green, from mint and seafoam to bright lime, all over the magazines and in stores the past few months.  I picked up this shirt at New York & Company for $13 (the shirt is listed as one of their $19.95 buys, plus I had a coupon).  I really like how the colors pops against the light tan shade.  While I’m not usually one for pastel colors, I think this combo will help spur me to try new combinations with the lighter shade group.
