So for anyone that’s been out shopping the past few months or read a recent fashion magazine, you probably know that maxi skirts are back with a vengeance! I’m happy to say that I was able to get a great deal on a versatile and oh so comfy one from Loft last week when they featured a flash 50% sale on dresses and skirts. This two layer black cotton skirt offers great flexibility in creating outfits,and will easily transition from the spring to summer, and then into fall. If you are nervous about looking like you stepped out of Little House on the Prairie, don’t be! I have yet to see a maxi skirt look bad on someone. Just make sure the waist size is right (hitting at your belly button is my preference compared to hitting on the hips) and it’s not too short (ankles should be covered). They are such a breezy way to add some creative looks to your closet.
