Hair products we love for a doubletake hair look!

Step 1: Use L’Oreal Eversleek Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner

Step 2: Towel dry hair and apply (leave in) Pantene Anti-Frizz Creme Straightening Balm

Step 3: After drying (and some quick straightening for us naturally curly haired girls), apply Suave Sleek Anti Frizz Cream

4: Our most important tool: the Sultra Bombshell 1 inch curling iron rod available at Sephora. This curling iron is amazing! It comes with a heat safety glove to wear while styling, since there is no barrel clip to hold hair on. Yes, it is pricey – but it is worth every penny. We love how it smooths hair and keeps it curled all day, while taking half the time of traditional curling irons. You can also use it to make a variety of looks, from beach waves to bouncy curls.

Step 5: Apply Pantene hairspray to sections of the hair prior to curling. Part hair in half, and then thirds on each side. Wrap these smaller sections around barrel for about 8 seconds. After releasing, hold curl for a few seconds in your hand until it cools.

Step 6: Finish the look with John Frieda Volume hairspray at roots, and with an all over fine mist with head flipped over. If curls are too “sectioned” for your liking, use fingers to shake out a bit, but do not brush.

So DTG readers, that is our 6 steps to “doubletake” hair! We love saving money by using drugstore type products. All of these featured above are available at Walmart, Target, and other similar retailers. Minus our holy grail curling iron of course!
