Home Design Makeover with Quintessential Interiors

Hello Lovely Readers~

Today we are so excited to introduce you to Linsey from Quintessential Interiors! I had the pleasure of working with her this fall to update our kitchen and living room. She is an amazing designer and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome. (P.S. don’t miss the end of our post for a special design consultation promotion!)

From the start of our consultation, I knew she was the perfect designer for us. She is so easy to work with and was able to combine both styles that my husband and I wanted, while helping us achieve a classic yet updated look to our breakfast area and living room.

We moved into our house almost 4 years ago and never had made specific decor decisions. While I love shopping for clothes, making design decisions was hard for me! Thanks to Linsey, we never had to stress about those decisions. With her consultation, design and shopping – she had us covered!

The updated breakfast area:

A new chandelier, drapes, table, and chairs added to the new paint color on the wall heighten the sense of relaxation in this space. I love rustic and refined together.

A close up the refinished chairs. Did you know that she offers refinishing services as well? With a coat of milk paint and some new upholstery, these vintage french chairs come to a new life in this gorgeous eat-in dining area.

For the desk area we re-used my Ikea desk and added a custom upholstered chair and rustic accessories to personalize my kitchen office space. I use this area to teach my online classes and for the blog.

The living room was updated first and foremost by painting the brick fireplace! Prior to this makeover, it was very dark, reddish brick that I never liked. I’m so glad Linsey recommended we paint it! We had a custom fireplace cushion made to protect Claire from falls.

We loved how the combination of vintage and new makes this cool palette warm. The credenza is made from reclaimed windows from India.

Custom pillows on a new transitional sectional in a family-friendly, linen-look fabric provides plenty of seating in the open layout space. New wall colors harmonize the rooms for a cohesive look. This is our favorite room in the house now.

She added additional seating and accessories for a simple, yet stylish entry.

We love how the custom drapes provide privacy while still letting in light in this formal dining.
